Bored eh?
Some might want to know what exactly an Officer does when ‘business’ is slow.
In my district, which has some of the most violent crime in the United States, is almost never slow. That being said, there are days when not a lot goes on. Yesterday happened to be one of those days.
My entire squad sat together in the middle of the main through streets of our district running radar and stopping every car that drop by practically.
Not much to say about doing traffic stops, as I prefer criminal arrests to doing traffic.
Total squad citations issued out of sheer boredom?
28 tickets by 4 participating squad members.
I got so bored doing car stops, I started stopping people on bikes with no lights, looking for guns and drugs.
Didn’t find either. Blah, always next week.
